Lake District Mountain Guide & Private Guiding

Bespoke Lake District Mountain Guide, Tailored to You

Hire a private mountain guide in the Lake District and the whole day is built around you: the route, the pace and what you want to learn. Tick off a classic ridge like Striding Edge or Sharp Edge, climb your first multi-pitch route, or build the skills to head out on your own.

Every day is led by Jack Oliver, a qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor (MCI) and member of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team. Days run across the Lake District and North Wales, with the venue chosen to suit your objective and the conditions on the day.

Not sure what to book? Browse guided scrambling, rock climbing courses or navigation and mountain skills, or send an enquiry and we’ll suggest the right day.
